i've not had such a good laugh the past couple of days until i talked to a people of mine. she told me her boyfriend is now feeling insecure about me cause he dreamt that i was fucking her.

due to the fact that i am sick of everything and the outside world, i am not attempting the napfa test which ends this friday. that way i will enlist into national service much quicker. furthermore going through the physical training phase will prepare me better for the basic training be it the army, police or civil defence.

so everyone says i will miss the world when i enlist. i am raring to prove them wrong.

my friend just smsed me from overseas, tekong island, telling me to pass my napfa test cause according to him it's damn boring right now and you can't stop thinking of the outside world. in all sincerity, i don't mind enlisting RIGHT NOW. i think i'm cut out for a world which is shut out from the rest. every morning i'd wake up at 5am and do exercises till 11 at night. i would actually benefit from that because i'll be turned from a boy to a man.

i wish that in a year's time i would be starting a new chapter of my life. if it's a happy ending, i would be two to three years away from home in total. that means i will be spending a few fasting months, hari raya(s), birthdays and other auspicious occasians away from home. that's alright, the end product is worth more than the sacrifice.

acherly i think hor, have handphone not such a good idea. later everytime your friend sms you ask you stupid thing or call you to tingtong here and there. so troublesome one. and den hor, later you cannot control den u sms alot alot, wah knncb the bill soot so high. it more worse lor if you got gf and she the very possessive that kind. everywhere you go she ask you report strength as though she scared you run away to africa. i feel like a stupid dog if i got girlfriend den she liddat. slap her den she noe. ok my fren i gtg already my boss ask me go sell dvd at bus stop.

i cannot stand people who stand on the right side of escalators when you've been specifically told to keep left so that those in a hurry will not be held up. if you are a senior citizen or someone who doesn't understand english, i give you the benefit of the doubt. but sometimes it's the young generation of singaporeans who choose to stand on the right side. you fuckin stupid or what? now that is a rhetorical(thanks miss k) question. worse still, you and your partner start showing public display of affection on the escalator. if you have to so badly do it on moving stairs, please downgrade and go to staircases on hdb flats.

we've heard the "give way to alighting passengers first" like tan90 times but still, those kiasu singaporeans will stand right smack in the middle and obstruct your way out. you could choose to be polite and just say excuse me, or be like me, stick out your elbows or say hi using your shoulders. seriously what's wrong with all these people? why the rush? if you're tired and you badly want to sit then it's understandable but when the train's already crowded, what's the hurry about? we should fine all these people who do not give way.

why can't everyone just clear their own thrash after having a meal or drink? obviously you can't throw away coffeeshop mugs or plates or at places where there're no specific points to drop off your thrash but when it's a perishable item like a takeaway cup or your burger wrapper, i find that it's considerate if you would just throw it away so that the next person can just sit at the table and do whatever he wants immediately without having to wait for someone to clear it. everyone of us just has to do his part in order for this to work. just think of it this way; you'd prefer arriving at a clean table than a dirty one innit?

what's the point of having a top 20 university in the world when we're ranked bottom 10 in the list of 'most considerate citizens' in the world? it's your character that people judge you by, not your paper qualification. you carry yourself around, not that degree.

p.s. by the end of this entry 90% of the people who've read what's mentioned above will be feeling guilty for committing any one of those acts.

no i didn't watch happy gilmore today. i watched the pursuit of happiness, an inspiring movie which should be watched before every test or exam. the pursuit of happiness is a typical 'from rags to riches' film.

as i was typing this entry i could feel tremors/earthquakes. i pray for the safety of the citizens of our earthquake prone neighbouring countries.

people with no nose bridges should never wear oversized shades. it just looks ugly on them. but i still wear those fake oakleys from patong beach because i'm already fugly. so fuck yeh and liverpool.

i am proud that my friend noxannad xarid din passed his a levels well enough to earn him a place in a local university. coming from MI, i think it is a big achievement since quite a number of MI students don't have a full cert(have yet to obtain a formal statistic). it was his shear perserverance and hardwork that has put him at where he is now. thus in this situation xarid din is an excellent case study of 'working hard does pay off'. oh yeah and one more thing, be humble.

sing when you're winning

if you ever want to see the soft side of guys, have a karaoke session with them. you will be amused that they actually listen to, and know very well, mushy love songs. they may act like they're only into emo shit or metal but in fact songs like bee gees' words and richard marks' right here waiting are probably in their ipods.

so what do i think of cross-cultural(interracial sounds a tad too wrong) relationships after watching sepet this afternoon? well i feel that it is normal for people to fall in love with someone who isn't one of their own. afterall, we're all the same; flesh and blood. it doesn't matter what's your skin colour. you have your own liberty to choose whom you want to date and maybe spend the rest of your life with. however, relationships that involve lovebirds who aren't of the same race will pose slightly more problems. that's a fact which you cannot run from. here in singapore if you happen to like someone but he or she isn't your race or religion, don't be afraid to take the plunge. we're one people, one nation, one singapore.
