the way i are

two more weeks to the passing out parade. time seems to fly pretty fast, only when you're in push up position or standing under the blazing sun. i can say that i've done alot of things that i never thought was possible.

my ippt result has improved from the previous one. i did better in every station as compared to to the earlier test and managed to attain a silver. at the moment gold seems a distance away.

a big step in one boy's transformation from being a boy to a man is the live grenade throw. as nerve wrecking as it was, i actually managed to throw it safely. that was all that mattered. i lived.

just a few days ago i did the 16km route march. i have never walked that far at one go before in my life i swear. when everything ended my groin and feet blistered quite bad. i had to walk like a penguin the next day.

live firing was next. i thought i would fail since my record in ncc was fit for the dustbin but i didn't. in fact i did far much better than the target i had set myself.

oh well a few more obstacles left and i can be a mainland singaporean once again. till then, it's still waking up everyday and just surviving the next 16 hours.

Happy Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KHALIES

thanks for everything that you have provided me as a friend for the past three years. that includes the free aldo kiss from someone, your tips on how to do statistics, mockings that i'm a malaysian, nice reads like kite runner, not turning up to watch shrek 2 and ended up me watching it alone, late night company at simpang, links to your hot female friends/cousins on friendster and many more. the list just goes on and on. but, most importantly, you provided me with a priceless friendship which even visa can't buy. have a good twentieth birthday. you know i love you. =)

for you, a thousand times over.

from: your neighbour across the causeway, Eddie "Appam" Saiful

mamasita

we're still as childish as before

one to show to our kids

relax one corner and start digging

cause there'll always be the five of us

if you've never come across a birthday boy who had to buy his own cake because he knows his friends won't take the iniative to buy one for him, well now you have. just-turned-twenty farid actually bought his own birthday cake. KGB's hopelessness example number one.

i can say that he's the happiest boy on earth tonight because he got a G-shock from us. actually credit goes to the girls who went through the trouble to look for it. all we did was just pay. KGB's hopelessness example number two.

this is the KGB for you. we've always been like this, and probably will be forever.

p.s. esdy can actually be a soldier because he pees everywhere and anywhere, even in urban areas.

Survivor Pulau Tekong

there's so much that i can describe and go on about field camp but i'll make it short, just like my days left on that island. FIELD CAMP IS A LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE. i'm glad that i was thrown into the army and made to go through six days of shit and fun because field camp is not just about digging a knee-deep trench and sleeping in it, eating cold food from a green packet and charging through the jungle with my buddies firing our blank rounds endlessly at simulated targets but rather, i took away with me so many life lessons. it's just sad that no photography was allowed.

for the record, i didn't shit at all.
