do i make you proud?

esdy and i had lunch today at RP. don't ask why. i think the reasons are obvious.

we had a smack-in-your-face reality check conversation going on. it was about our positions right now. quite a number of our friends have their own cars or at least drive their parent's cars. what do we have? nothing. we have friends who have bikes too. even the mats have bikes! it's not that we're particular about what we have because we're more or less happy right at the moment. but what makes us wonder is the fact that people at our age are already driving and riding, so why aren't we?

the only expensive thing that we own, or is worth to be proud of, are our ipods.

anyway i always remember this saying to make myself feel better: there will always be someone better off than you, and there're also others who are worse off.
