hunger and thirst marathon

in view of the beginning of the fasting month tomorrow, i'd like to share a story which happened a few years ago during the holy month.

it was a conversation between a small mat and i during football in the evening.

me: so are you fasting?
him: yeah. the last time i ate or had a drink was at zohor.
me: huh? that means you're not fasting anymore.
him: no it was at 4am.
