we never seem to get bored of our repeated jokes. here are just a few to share.

1) Ciplak (plagiarism)
our malay teacher told us to do a malay composition based on any title we liked. it was for the school's malay magazine. a few of us went to the internet and copied wholesale a couple of short stories. when the due date came, this was what happened:
teacher: "SIAPA DI SINI CIPLAK KARANGAN DIA?!"
azpar and xarid owned up: "yer cikgu kite amik dari internet."
teacher: "ANNUR(some girl in class), INI KARANGAN AWAK KE?!"
annur: "yer cikgu saya yang tulis."
teacher: "ABEH KENAPE ADE 'BISA' DALAM KARANGAN AWAK?!"

anyway she's bloody stupid to just copy and paste blindly without even reading it through once.

2) Stones
azpar and i were supposed to go home together. but he got caught up with something so i waited for him at one of the benches in school. there were many stones around where i was sittingand azpar's bag was with me. so i decided to take a few and put it in his bag. he came back and then we went home. this was what happened the next morning in malay class, which was our first lesson of the day:

azpar, while opening his bag, "EH APE NI ADE BATU DLM BAG AKU???"
i was sitting beside him, "kau tak pack bag kau?????"

it's amazing how he can carry his bag filled with stones home, and then back to school again the next day.

3) the Prophecy
this is my favourite story of all time. it was malay class, AGAIN. the teacher was in a bad mood. one of my friends pissed her off and she said: "TIADA MAAF BAGI MU!"

azpar, trying to be clever, said "cikgu, sedangkan nabi maafkan umat nye."
with her thunderous voice the teacher roared "APE NABI-NABI?!!!! INI BUKAN SOAL NABI!"

that was just absolute suicide.

the last time i worked with another fellow KGB was two years ago when we went to tuas to do some packing job for sarjen azpar's father's company because we were broke after going clubbing to MOS the night before. this time i round i spent my whole weekend with noxanned xarid din at this warehouse near changi prison to do stock taking for some PVC pipes and fittings company because i was broke after buying DJ Hero and Crocs. working with someone you know very well definitely makes seeing all the pipes and fittings more bearable. the $200 i earned over the past two days will probably disappear soon since the oakley jupiter is screaming into my ear to take them home. i need to find earplugs.

i would like to question the purpose of singing competitions, in specific Anugerah, our local malay singing contest. what is the use of people sending in their text messages to vote for their favourite contestant when all the top few finalists keep appearing together in shows even after the winner has been decided? khairul anwar came up tops two seasons ago in Anugerah but until now, syed azmir and fauzi laili are still making the same number of appearances, if not more, than khairul anwar.

i've come to the conclusion that majority of people who are excellently equipped during soccer matches turn out to be the lousier of the players on the pitch. last week there was a guy who wore orange nike mecurial vapours, the one cristiano ronaldo wears, has a haircut like cronaldo, walks and tries to have the cronaldo vibes, ok basically a cronaldo wannabe, was substituted just after ten mintues into the game. all that happened was he was sprinting after a ball, tripped while trying to kick it and then got himself injured. loser or what? i know this is a poor argument because i quote only one example but i'm just too lazy to type. for more, do head down to any field this weekend and have a look. the mat in lotto boots and torn socks wearing army shorts is the star of the game.

matreps in tapered 3/4 pants and slippers with helmet and motorbike parked at the side of the street soccer are the kings of local football. and alam shah is a lion king (check last tiger cup hairdo).

so i'm three months away from being unemployed. so if i can't get into a uni i want a job which:

- allows me to keep any hairstyle i want (2 years of short and neat hair is unbearable)
- doesn't require me to wake up early in the morning (waking up before the sun rises is depressing)
- pays more than what i'm earning now but do lesser work and bear lesser responsiblity (knowing lives are in your hands can be taxing)
- is feasible for me to cycle to work (it's troublesome to have to take a boat to work)
